For a summary of our last TC3 course, visit our Event Blog

Search dogs are valuable members of the US&R team, and deployments expose these canine members to unique hazards. Is your team prepared to care for an injured K9? What will your K9 program do if one of its valuable members is critically injured at training or on a deployment?

The Tactical Canine Casualty Care (TC3) course is a two-day HANDS-ON, intensive training focusing on treatment of working dog emergencies in the field. The course incorporates current TCCC and TECC guidelines with K9 specific anatomy and physiology to provide the most up-to-date life saving information available for working dogs. Training includes multiple interactive, casualty response situations in simulated tactical environments, using canine mannequins and other realistic training aids in dynamic scenarios.

Participants: This interactive course is suitable for US&R MedSpecs, K9 handlers with medical training, and any US&R team members that may be responsible for supporting an injured canine in the field.  Training is broken down into skill levels.  No one will leave feeling overwhelmed or under-challenged!

We are offering this course immediately following our Disaster K9 Workshop at the same location.
